Should an boil tooth be causing intense headaches and neck pain?I have been having headaches for the past 3 weeks and wasn’t sure what was causing them. About a week ago, I started having dental pain. I went to the dentist and he told me I have an boil tooth and gave me antibiotics. I’m held to get a root canal, but I know the dangers with boil teeth and was wondering if I should be apprehensive about headaches and neck pain.

Resolution by Snotalie it can get worse, but only to the point that the abcess bursts, then most of the pain will go away….the pain u feel is from the infection but frequently the difficulty build up is the root of ur problems. You could pop it ur self if u can feel where the difficulty is construction, use a sterilized sowing needle…. but either way get to the doc’s and get a touch to start killling the infection like anti-biotics. If u do infact have an boil tooth the pain CAN get so terrible that oral doses of Oxy-cotin will not take an look. hope it works out for ya
